1. Introduction
We at SPECTRE TECH are committed to providing our customers with high-quality tech hardware and exceptional service. This policy outlines the conditions under which you can return or exchange tech hardware purchased from us.
2. General Return Policy
We offer a 14-day return period for all unopened and unused tech hardware items purchased online or in-store. Within this period, you can return the item for a credit or exchange for a different item (subject to availability).
3. Exceptions:
The following items are not eligible for return or exchange unless they are deemed faulty or defective:
• Opened software or digital products
• Hygiene products (e.g., headphones, earphones)
• Consumable items (e.g., printer cartridges)
• Clearance items
• Custom-built or modified products
4. Reasons for Return and Refund:
You can return or exchange tech hardware for the following reasons:
• Incorrect item received: If you receive an item that differs from your order, we will gladly exchange it for the correct item or issue a full credit refund.
• Faulty or defective item: If the item is malfunctioning or has a manufacturing defect, you are entitled to a full credit refund or exchange within the warranty period (specified by the manufacturer).
• Unwanted item: Within the 14-day return period, you can return an unopened and unused item for a full credit refund. Please note that a 10% handling fee may apply.
5. Return Process:
• To initiate a return, please contact our customer service team within the 14-day return period. You can do this by phone, email, or through our online return’s portal.
• You will receive a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number. Please clearly mark this number on the returned package.
• Pack the item securely in its original packaging with all accessories and manuals.
• Send the item back to the address provided by our customer service team. We recommend using a trackable shipping service with insurance.
6. Credit:
• Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will process your store credit within 3 business days.
• Credit will be issued to the account used when purchasing the items in question.
7. Shipping Costs:
• You are responsible for the cost of return shipping unless the item is faulty or we sent you the wrong item.
• We will cover the cost of shipping the replacement item to you.
8. Warranties:
All tech hardware products purchased from us carry the manufacturer’s standard warranty. For warranty claims, please refer to the manufacturer’s warranty information included with the product.
9. Consumer Protection Act:
This policy is subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act (CPA) of South Africa. You have certain rights under the CPA that are not covered by this policy, such as the right to repair or replace a faulty product within a reasonable period of time.
